Alta Ski Area Cat Skiing

Alta offers an unique skiing adventure of guided off-trail skiing in the Grizzly Gulch Bowl, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon above Alta. Board the heated cabin of our custom snow cat for the ride to the top of Grizzly Gulch at an elevation of 10,500 feet. Your playground will then be 375 acres of incredible bowl skiing, dropping to an elevation of 9,000 feet. Snowboarders are welcome for this activity

Join Alaska Mountain Guides for an exciting day of backcountry skiing, ice/rock climbing, or mountaineering. Many of these backcountry ski programs utilize the chair lifts at Alta Ski Area to access some of the best out of bounds skiing in North America(in cooperation with Alta Ski Area and Exum Utah Mountain Adventures, authorized permit holders in the Wasatch Cache National Forest)! The Ski Utah Interconnect Adventure Tour offers a safe, exciting and unique way to experience the Wasatch mountain backcountry via routes in and out of up to five different ski resorts. Seasoned professional guides lead the way to fabulous off-piste turns, incredible views and a day not soon forgotten. Tours operate seven days a week, weather and conditions permitting, and are open to advanced skiers in good physical condition.
